So, after the rather long period of silence I'm back.
Since 2020 a lot has happened in the world as a whole, in IT world and in my own small and private world.
Looking back at these years, at mostly sad events happening in the world and in the country I'm living in I must confess it was hard to be productive somedays.
But what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, right? Well, at least in theory.
Let's move on.
I quit my job at Passware on May 30, 2025, more than a year ago.
It was longest period of time I was working for a commercial company in my life - almost 10 years, 9 years and 9 months to be exact (cool figures by the way).
I will publish a brief summary about it soon.
I'm unemployed at the moment. Can't say I'm actively looking for work but I'm open to offers.
Being unemployed I decided to revive my small project - static site builder wt.
Couple of times I was asked to handover the name wt on PyPI as the project
looked abandoned. Can't say I agree with such requests. Personally I would look
for a new name instead of asking for handover.
Anyway, I've spent some time, slowly rewrote wt from scratch and published it as version 3.0.0 (3.1.0 is the latest release at the moment).
This version is completely incompatible with previous versions (oops!) but it looks much better on the inside (and it still doesn't support tags).
Documentation is not available online but it is available in the repository.
And this blog is now managed by wt. Again.
